Some Personal News: Wrapping Up My Time in Consulting

After 18 years across superannuation, life insurance and professional services, most recently as a Partner at Deloitte, I've wrapped up my time in consulting – parental leave first, then back to retirement and superannuation from the inside.

Some personal news: after 18 years across superannuation, life insurance and professional services, most recently as a Partner at Deloitte, I've wrapped up my time in consulting.

Next comes the most important role of the year: a couple of months of parental leave at home with my family.

The Next Chapter

After that, my focus stays where it has been for most of my career: retirement and superannuation, this time from the inside. I've spent over a decade helping funds and insurers design retirement income solutions, from lifetime income products through to award-winning digital retirement tools and the regulatory frameworks that sit around them. The next chapter is about leading that work within an organisation and owning the outcomes, not just advising on them.

In the meantime, I'm open to select advisory work, from retirement income strategy through to designing and building the calculators and member tools that bring it to life.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the story so far, especially everyone from Deloitte who has supported me and helped me develop – I'll definitely be taking away many fond memories and genuine relationships.

If you're working on the retirement income problem and want to compare notes, I'd genuinely love to hear from you.
